Established between Brussels and Paris, Nicolas Destino stands out for his collections of themed objects and his vision of a design that he qualifies as conceptual.
Believing that beauty is matched only by sobriety, the designer combines function and aesthetics, creating objects with pure lines, characterized by geometric shapes. The luminous scale is the object most representative of his approach to product design.

Pushing back creative limits, Nicolas Destino sees design as a means of expression.
He frees himself from industrial constraints through the development of unique pieces, entirely handmade, and which he particularly likes. He presents this artisanal work generally in the form of collections.

These artistic and personal projects give life to a surprising and quirky universe in which the object becomes de-functional to leave more room for the imagination. Thus, he reinterprets various inspirations such as the medical world, surgery, suicide, Belgium, fashion or the fun fair. In the continuity of this formal work, Nicolas Destino creates paintings from a succession of colored strips and arranged graphically.

Between 2005 and 2010, his work was exhibited at the Musée du Grand Hornu, the Musée du Cinquantenaire or the Atomium.

In 2015, Nicolas Destino designated the Mons International Love Film Festival trophy, which will be awarded to actress Marie-Christine Barrault. He also designs the NRJ Startup competition trophy. He then exhibited the Belgium collection in Mons, as part of the European Capital of Culture, and designed the decor and furniture for the JT recording studios and the Samedi + program for Notélé, Belgian television.

In 2016, the Provincial Palace of Namur ordered a copy of the Belgian furniture for the apartments of Governor Denis Mathen. The BELvue Museum, governed by the King Baudouin Foundation, includes the Belgian clock in its permanent collections. Nicolas Destino also designs a bracelet for the QuPlace brand and the decor for the Je Lance ma Boite show.

In 2017, the Belgian Embassy in Paris presents its series of fashion objects during Paris Design Week. The following year, his paintings were presented at the Scope Salon in Miami Beach during the International Contemporary Art Fair Art Basel.
